The problem of idi igbo today was as a result of Nnamdi Azikiwe and his greed. While others are fighting for one north One west Zik was fighting for one Nigeria which has cost idi igbo alot till today we are suffering from zik idealogy.. Very unfortunate😢😢

Madam, Zik was a great man. I'm Yoruba, I admire Zik more than Awo in Colonial struggles in Africa. He is more reckoned with in political science in Africa. Awo is only popular when we talk of regional politics and being the opposite leader in the first Republic. However, Zik made some mistakes which were prompted by his egotism. For instance, why would Zik not support the inclusion of secession in our constitution during the 1957 conference in Lagos. Awo wanted any region to have the constitutional right to break away from Nigeria. But Zik wanted a bigger Nigeria that he felt he would rule one day. Again, the Yorubas could have been ibos best allies , but he chose the North because he felt he could control them being less educated than him Even if people don't say this on the social media, it's in political science forever. We call one IRRATIONAL COALITION when Zik formed the first Republic coalition government with Tafawa Balewa rather than Awo. Zik of Africa lives on.

Why Ndigbo would never learn . You have to promote Igbo language. Stop speaking English in Igbo setting like this . They would even respect you more when you speak Igbo then English . Igbo language would soon be a forgotten language.

Zik failed us woefully.. Ojukwu championed the igbo unity and he is the real igbo leader till tomorrow.. As far as ala igbo zik has no footing in igbo land . He was there over 3.5 million igbo killed during the war

Why do people reduce the Great Zik to only Ibos. He was not an ethnic person. He established a secondary school in Lagos which has produced great Nigerians from all ethnic groups in Nigeria.
