Phillip beat himself by not respecting his discipline enough to fix his landing. He would have won...he can only blame himself.

Idowu coach should be put in jail

His coach was Keith Connor, a great triple jumper, european record holder with 17,57 from 1982 to 1985, european champion in Athens 1982, bronze medaI in Los Angeles 1984. I think Connor did the possible to fix Idowu's errors, but a trainer is not a magician! After all, Idowu jumped very far even without the correct tecnique of landing.
