After a year and a half of learning Origami I have tried several times in frustration to make a tessalation till now, this is my first successful fold, it was easy to follow and it looks great ... Thanks for sharing

Your explanations are sooooo detailed and really good! I would like more tesselation videos- I love tesselations but I am not able to „read“ CPs on my own....its to complex but with your help I can make it 👍🏻 Thank you!

I've never dared starting working no tesselantions before this video I watched last year. I've bought Allessandro Bieber book since. Congrats, you made a great tutorial here.

First few videos, it was quite irritating with so much explanation. But I was wrong. Now I think this explanation is really necessary especiallly when the folds get complex. oh and I love your videos. Subscribed 👍

Fantastic tutorial Evan, very clearly explained, as always :) I can wait to give it a try. With the bit towards the end, after the initial collapse, when you move to the second and forth molecules, you mention to be careful not to add additional creases, would rotating the model clockwise for these molecules mitigate this?
@EzOrigami8 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ed, I'm glad you liked the video! And yes, that's a good point. I taught it the way that I usually fold the molecules, but rotating clockwise instead would help avoid the unnecessary creases. I've also found that if you pre-crease those diagonal creases before folding in all 4 sides, the final shaping of the molecules is a bit easier.

EzOrigami Thanks for the advice, I folded it using the method you demonstrate in the video and then unfolded it to have a closer look at the final crease pattern, I've dropped you a message about it :)

Hey Evan, is there a book, pdf, with all your models in it? With diagrams or cp's? I once made your logarithmic spiral, and I truly fell in love with some of your models/ tessellations! Thanks Evan.
@EzOrigami8 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the kind words! No book yet, but I've diagrammed most of my designs in hopes of putting one together someday. Is there any model you're particularly interested in? I also have some diagrams and crease patterns available on my website, if you're interested: ez-origami.com

Could you make a tutorial for the Logarithmic Spiral?
