Can this be made with 30 units?
@15minutegaming325 жыл бұрын
@@leonellin3382 Yes, this can be made with 30 units. However, now it will have an icosahedral instead of octahedral structure. You simply join 5 pyramids instead of four. I hope this answered your question This is a new gaming channel... Please subscribe

I used 6x6 inch paper, 80GSM and it was not wanting to stay together very well, some parts did others just slipped right out. I think I'm going to implement using glue to help keep the pieces intact and bonded so it doesn't fall apart as I progressively assemble it.

This tutorial is so on point!!!! Really love it!!! You've even included a folding tool in it. That saves so much time and makes the model more accurate!!!!!!!

Good one! I like to use thick paper so my kusudamas aren't too wobbly, but I can't recommend it for this. The module is firm on its own, and it gets tricky to force things together. I've put a picture on insta for you.

Why do you use the first three extra minutes for green paper for origami, if the red sheet can simple be divided into three parts and make an element for the kusudama?

it can also be made into 30 unit proper kusudama

i think thicker paper is best because it took me soooo long to keep the units together so they dont unasemble

Am I soooo bad at Kusudamas??? The difficulty is "low intermediate" and I could not link the modules. I tried and tried and tried and it did not work out. I used normal paper with a weight of 80 gsm. Totally impossible, the paper cannot stand the tension.
@mbby2k5 жыл бұрын
yes you are horrendous at kusudama if you cant make a simple one
@15minutegaming325 жыл бұрын
@@mbby2k You should try simpler units earlier, such as the Sonobe unit and other simple units before attempting a low-intermediate model. I also strongly suggest that you first make the similar "Japanese Brocade," which has similar units, before you try this kusudama. riarulala 12 months later, but since you haven’t managed to connect them by themselves, you should use glue to connect them. That’s what the 6 pieces of the origami Medallion Kusudama require to be connected. I guess it’s cheating with this figure, but hey, if you can’t manage to connect without adhesive, do it with adhesive.
@justin-btsellendegeneresan56657 ай бұрын
riaruala no, it has nothing to do with your skill. 💜 Plus low intermediate doesn’t mean easy so you wouldn’t be sooo bad at them anyway. 👍🏼 You should use an adhesive like glue for instance to help assemble it like how I’m feeling the need to do from my paper being thin. 😊 It would be a good idea for Evan to say in his video that thick paper is recommended as there’s KZbinr origamists who mention the recommend paper thickness at the beginning of their videos to help their viewers be capable of making whatever modular figure. 🙁
