@@q.p9000 from what I understand, it’s about the commodification of belief and spirituality, and the desire for a spirituality/religious belief that isn’t a “church that fits in your purse”. The line “who got lost in God’s multitude of names” is a reference to the Jewish notion that God has a multitude of names, each corresponding to a different aspect (judgement, mercy, omnipotence, etc). Also the idea that we can only know so much “that the ocean of the known ends at the beach”. So basically, it’s about trying to find God, whatever that means to an individual.
