J-ing out already does that to a 5km radius.Being stupid and crashing while an enemy is closer than 2 km from you should be a manouver kill for the enemy. Thats the definition of a manouver kill

The Strela missiles uses contrast during day, wouldn't it not care about the flares anyway? From what I have seen, it has no problems at locking the F-117 during day time at the usual missile range (6km).

The strela uses optical and IR lock which it can switch at will. That means it can track planes like the f117 during the day time heat had no effect on that missile

imo best option is to take one JDAM and one Paveway to drop 2 bombs on the first run (JDAM to 1 stationary target and the Paveway to what ever you want to attack) and then RTB...

hey mat, in most cases the contrails appear a little above 5000 meters, so like between 5300 and 5500 meters. So if you stay at exact 5k you should be fine. Exeptions are cold maps. For example at the arctic map there are always contrails at any hights.

I personally don't see any use grinding for this thing since I have the A-7s and the prem A-10 for my 10.0 to 10.3 lineup that carry more armament, but I can see the appeal for those that have a 10.0 US line up without any CAS.

So basically all you have to do is join a squadron and play the game. Every 3 days some squadron rp will be dumped into the f117 if everyone in your squadron is active. It's how I got the AIM!

GBU-27s, although having less explosive mass, has a better laser seeker and a bit better maneuverability. Though at the ranges the F-117 is usually used anyway, the GBU-10 is fine as well, the GBU-27 however might be a bit less susceptible to getting the damage soaked if you directly hit targets due to the additional AP effect it has. The GBU-31s JDAMs should also be considered, as they are fire and forget, which can be pretty effective against (often stationary) SPAA.

You can do that yes, probably also best to do that. Only disadvantage is that, depending on your altitude, you might need to dive a bit to make the target stay inside the gimbal limits of the laser designator. Probably best to drop, go sideways, wait until the bomb is 10-15s away from impact, egress and designate. This way you can keep your distance without running into gimbal limit problems (and also bomb laser seeker range problems) because you flew away too far waiting for the bomb to impact.

Почти нет смысла при первом респе климбить куда-то в сторону. Это необходимо только при вылете с филда. Просто потому что когда ты входишь в зону обнаружения (5-6км) ты уже над радаром, у которого 20°. А при вылете с филда, если не климбить в сторону то при подлёте к карте у тебя нет высоты и ты у всех как на ладони. Лично я выработал такую стратегию: 1 вылет (только взял): просто откидываю 2 бомбы лазерных и ухожу на филд. Кстати, я беру обычные гбу-12, т.к. они лёгкие и их хватает на 1 танк, а по 2 танка почти никогда не бывает. 2 вылет (взлёт с филда): климб под 90° от карты до 1км на скорости +-500км/ч. После разворот на карту и, продолжая набирать высоту, заходим на карту в стелсе. Откидываем бомбы и возвращаемся на карту. Повторяем это действие, пока не закончатся очки у одной из команд) Таким образом мы не теряем особо времени на обходы и остаёмся невидимы для зениток. Как по мне, главная проблема ф117 - это филд в 15 км, а не в 25)
