It would be great to see this for other aircraft as well like F/A-18s. Maybe like a yearly review would be great where everyone sends in a photo of their models for display.

Great looking builds ! I actually worked for Grumman Aerospace on Long Island, New York for 15 years working in Plant #6 , F-14 final assembly, 1051 power plant division. I'm also a long time modeler and it was easy when building Tamiya's F-14A when it first came out. It was simple to super detail it, just go to work ! There are many prototypes that were tested and are not covered in any books or videos which would have made great model subjects ( some " classified " ) . We also built the A6E, A6F, EA6B, EF-111, X29 Test A/C and all versions of the Tomcat , even Iran's " Sandcats "at the Calverton, Long Island plant until the very end of the programs. It was a sad day to see the last Tomcat lift off the companies run way and give us a private air show. It was a honor to be a " Grumman Iron Worker " . The Tomcat was the finest naval fighter, period.

Yeah! Glad to see this. Though there is a goof up in the info on mine at 4:50 it says Italeri, is supposed to say Tamiya. But that's really not a big deal.

Sorry for that! with amount of models I got, I knew I will make a mistake somewhere 🤦♂

What a wonderful Idea for a video, still watching, haven't made it all the way through yet, but had to take a pause to comment on the brilliance of this. What a way to bring the community together and share all of the worlds talent and love for the airframe. Fantastic job. I have a few so far that I would love to mention as incredible works, but I'll follow the lead of the fine human who made this video, sit back, and just enjoy, and marvel in the kindness and kindship of this community. You are all amazing in my opinion!

10:09 That VF-1 model looks fantastic! The Britmodellers thread for its progress provided some useful info about their jets from the '87-91 period that were helpful as reference for my own Academy F-14 (making Wichita 113 as she looked sometime in 1989).
