The use of kneeboards is very helpful for us to visualize the attack run in whole! It'd be even better if you can share the attack cards with the community! And just a little thing, for us who don't read Airforce yet, could you explain more about the terms or acronyms on the card too? For example what does "AOD" mean? And the "900' FRAG/3900' LEAD'S FRAG" is for the egress height and bearing right?

I'd like to find a source for these as well.

Strike eagle is such a capable platform, even without the smart bombs, we just compensate with power and gas for days.

You should ask casmo and hear if he wants to do some missions, really loved the videos when you were flying with him

Is there a Situationen where you would choose CDIP over Auto. It seems Auto can do the same things as good as CDIP, but with fewer error chances and more safety.
@notso49663 ай бұрын
Not really. CDIP is not used at all much anymore irl. Although they aren't dropping dumb bombs much anymore either. About the only situations where CDIP might come in handy is if you needed to do a POP up to acquire the TGT visually because maybe you couldn't get a map of the TGT first and couldn't get a good designation - AND you needed to stay very low due to threats. So maybe you're doing a High drag 10 deg dive or something like that. While you CAN do that in AUTO as well using a HUD designation or having the WSO refine the Designation in the pop - both of those require a fair amount of more work and coordination with the WSO. In DCS, if you don't have a WSO - CDIP is pretty easy to use solo. And CDIP is very accurate if you fly the pass well. I can consistently shack tanks and APVs with a single MK-82 - but it takes practice. Something most people in DCS are violently allergic to, it seems.

@@notso4966 Ok thank you. I fly in a squadron (with a WSO)and had a discussion about CDIP. I think it’s more like a show them your balls skill, rather than actually useful. How does a HUD designation with the Pod slaved to it, is more work than a CDIP. As soon as I hold the Pickle button it is even the same symbology.

Hello Sir, at first thank you for all the tutorial videos you have done so far. I would like to know, will the strike eagle get a feature similar to the viper that is called VIP (visual intial point) and VRP (visual reference point)?

Hello Notso I was wondering if you can tell me where I can find the MK-82 attack card to use in DCS. 😊 I will greatly appreciate it thank you

Bring on the cheesy tag line!! You’ll also need a line of nasty shirts that you can plug at the start of each video

Hey I’m having issues where my ASL and CDIP piper never line up when using any MK82’s. Happens all the time so they won’t release in AUTO or CDIP actually. no one else can point me in the right direction all other bombs work in both? F-15E, OB, latest Pat h but had issue previous patch as well.

For intro taglines you should just add random adjectives after "notso."

Love your tutorials, but they're hard to follow in VR. It's impossible to read the screens with the jitter.
@sloppydog4831 Жыл бұрын
Notso, keep it quick and dirty. No need for funny /smart ass introductions.(although we love the "Hey its Wags from Eagle Dynamics). Anyway, learning a lot with the tutorials. As a note, it may be interesting to see how to diminish the jittery on the video when translated to a recording. Other KZbinrs (although you are not a KZbinr, you are the real deal) apply some techniques or software that helps eliminate that.

Can’t win em all. 😐🙄
@SsgtHolland Жыл бұрын
The video is very difficult to follow because of the jittery visuals. VR capture is certainly not ideal for tutorials.
