How does this happen? I've never been on a grass fire call that was started by an F-16 losing a flare.

We live pretty close to the Smoky Hill Air National Guard bomb range they run exercises out there all the time sometimes when they drop flares they won't fully release and then when they fly off range they will fall off and start fires a couple of years ago we had a C-130 start a fire with a flare
