the sequence of maneuvers from 5:10 - 8:30 ish is absolutely unreal. The most capable fighter jet of our time combined with immaculate precision from this aviator.

This is a real 5th gen. jet, not a cheap Chinese or Russian copy like the J-20 and SU-57. Can't wait to see our new 6th gen. Raptor successor.

Did he flip that bird twice? These jets are heavy and it’s amazing how the pilots throw them around as if they aren’t heavy!!! In early 2000 I saw one of these being tested around Marietta GA... it flew right up and over my car on the I-75S corridor... came out of no where, perpendicular to my car and scared the s**t out of me... didn’t hear it initially, but visually it was huge!!!

Did you see that power loop, it demonstrates how the F-22 Raptor can just slow down and pull a cobra, go vertical and point its nose like that wherever it wants, that two dimensional thrust vectoring is extremely deadly. Watch out, imagine what it could do with three dimensional. Even without it can do controlled manual flat spins on purpose with just rudder and have control whilst stalling. Apart from its avionics, stealth making it the ultimate jet, AESA radar and amazing in the BVR category, it’s also underestimated about its BFM and close combat manoeuvrability, there is nothing that this fighter cannot do in the air to air category. The reason it’s so loud (150db) no joke, is that it has 5th generation engines so powerful that allow it to supercruise at twice the speed of sound without utilising afterburners, just raw engine power full throttle no burners. It also has a higher thrust to weight ratio meaning it can hover in the air almost forever. It’s thrust propels it more than gravity is weighing it down allowing it to not stall and just go upwards. It’s mad.

@@dwizzleusa4202 No. Before you comment something ignorant do research. The YF-23 was just as good if not better. The only reason they chose the YF-22 is because it was cheaper slightly more maneuverable and at the time Lockheed Martin was more reputable.

Not even a good model of a F-22 Raptor. They aren't camouflaged, they are low-vis grey and where are the pitot tubes and weapons rails??? "I was there without ear protection." well sonny, the F-22 is ONE EIGHTH as loud as the F-4F Phantom II E I worked on in Viet Nam. The F-22 and F-35 are both considered to be "stealthy" aircraft in both RADAR sigs and noise levels. You hear a pair of P&W J-79's at "BUSTER" on take-off and you'll understand LOUD! It was (and is) a court-marshal offense to operate a jet engine aircraft "BUSTER" (full-throttle and afterburner) in the United States proper excepting spy planes flying out of THREE bases. At Minot AFB we had SAC B-52 "tall tails" taking off 5 abrest at "BUSTER" with water injection on. 300 yards away on the flight line, the blast could knock you flying. They operated SR-71's (Project Archangels) from there too.

You’re right about the Phantoms being super loud... I grew up less than 3 miles from a base that housed Phantoms and I concur those are LOUD!!! We used to stand at the end of the runway in a parking lot as they flew over our heads... they also flew over my house frequently... very loud indeed🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
