With the DAS system installed on this plane, it will be second only to f-22 in dogfight. I've always thought this plane sucks at dog fight since its main role is strike bomber, but when I learned about DAS, I realized I was wrong. The video is in my channel, by the way. Come watch how it renders the most maneuverable capability of enemy aircraft useless.

I most likely prefer the F-35C (CTOL). But all the variation are good though :-)

for the bravo and charlie variants, is there anybody out there that thinks that the single engine design may present a problem? all naval and Marine Corps aircraft have at least two turbines.

you don't think they'd split it between carriers and LHA's since it's supposed to replace both the F-18 and the harrier? i think they'd like to keep a presence in the air on carriers. and you think those lawn darts work fantastic? first time i've heard that. but then again, people still consider me a boot.
