A joint strike fighter, the F-35 is designed to accommodate a wide range of roles across three different U.S. military branches: Air Force, Navy, and Marines. The F-35B Short Take-Off/Vertical Landing (STOVL) is the Marine variant of the three, equipped with vertical take-off and stealth technology. As a joint strike fighter, the F-35B can be outfitted with a massive variety of armaments on each of its two internal pods and four external hardpoints.

The B and C variant do not have the cannon on the side sadly. Only the A has it. B and C mount the cannon on a stealth designed pod that goes on the belly between the missiles doors. but whatever. This thing is just so fricking cool.

Just saying, the F35B doesn't have an internal gun like you modelled. It carries a gun pod optionally under the rear fuselage. For a $525 dollar set I'd have expected this to be A. Correct and B. The gun pod and some more ordnance included.

Price is based on parts cost plus printing. This is a big plane, so the price is reflective on the number of parts and amount of printing involved. If you add more extras then the price will grow even higher. We're not out to rake people over the coals, but we do know how much these cost to make and we'd like to at least get paid for our design time.

The Lego community understands the costs of Bricklink, and can easilly assume that of your printing, boxing, and design time. We also get profit margins. A hike in cost of 150-200% compared with on the shelf lego is expected, but $525 for a 1000 piece model is gross, especially with the number of common elements being used here. Sorry, but the Brickvault system of selling instructions is far more moral. Many people could build this model with less than $50-100 of part orders if they had the option to buy the instructions and a decal sheet from you. This way you could continue making money on a set after the production run had ended, or when parts were not available in bulk, simply by selling the printed decals and instructions in PDF format. That you don't take that option, but charge as much as a new phone for 1000 pieces of lego is out of order. I will say though, you're right to charge for the design and the time investment. People like me with the biggest issues with the price ought to/ can make these MOCs to a similar standard themselves, which leaves only the supremely rich and untalented as the primary target for your business.

@I Made Aditya Wijaya the F-35 is far from an "expert" in air battles, it lost to much older aircraft numerous times in simulated combat. the J-31 is nothing like the F-35, in looks or performance. the J-31 is China's entry for a 5th generation aircraft, an answer to the US' F-35 and Russia's SU-57.

They think that may have caused the crash. Two companies made that part prior to 2015 and one of them was making them faulty. Planes with the correct fuel lines have already returned to flying.
