I've been listening to Tom since 2016 and have seen those fake fans up in the comments. I can't say that I love every one of his songs or can relate (although most of them i can and do) but I appreciate him as a person and artist and support him. There's different types of HOG and some are just here for his political stuff so they hate the other, or they're here for his mental health stuff and hate the other, or for his ish talking. Me. I'm here for all of it as many of us old school HOG are. I feel like I've traveled a long road with Tom and can't help but be happy for all his successes now.

People need to learn to just sit back and enjoy the ride regardless of the artist….we all have different styles & tastes and NOT 1 artist has ever made music that didn’t have a few songs that just didn’t hit for one person or another. I’m a die hard Tom fan but can definitely say that there are beats, verses & songs that I didn’t vibe with….still have them a play, a like and kept my mouth shut and waited for the next song that I did rock with! #HOG in the house. So I have been following Tom for about the last 5 years. I will tell you, in my experience, most of HOG are/were like family or good friends. Always talking in ways of respect or if a difference of opinion would just say we just agree to disagree. Now I'm not saying they haven't always been a few buttheads. I have looked at another of the really negative ones as either fake bots or actual haters claiming to be #HOG to discredit the community. But I will tell you, the crap that went down with Church, and some of his fans, have changed some in the comments. I notice more defensiveness, even some that are bullying. That used to be rare. You can not believe how toxic and infuriating it became. And I learned something years ago when I worked in a call center. People will say the rudest and insinuate the nastiest stuff, and most would not do that when standing eye to eye. So that not just you, but all reactors deal with this in different degrees. I will admit, the stuff being said made me quit looking in comments, even avoid any reactions for a few weeks. But you know, there are those whose only pleasure in life is dragging others down into the mud with them. And so many take the bait and start arguing. Great reaction. PEACE.

Honestly, I'm still mad at Metallica for the Black album. Haven't bought a single disk from them since... because they(Imo) "sold out" (which as an adult I understand much better than I did back then) and started making "Radio Friendly" music... something they'd previously said wasn't in the books. I HATE radio. I don't want that carbon copy corporate trash anywhere near my ears. Music isn't created by guys in suits sitting around a board table it's written by half crazed drug and alcohol addled artists. Poison wanted to be a country band... Execs convinced them to do "Hair Metal". that's why some of their songs sound just a touch country... the ARTISTS were also a touch country. But the Board wanted profits and more money was coming from tight leather jeans stuffed with a sock (Axel Rose, from G&R) and HUGE hair with enough spray in it to kill portions of the Ozone Layer. Now I don't feel quite as strongly about why (for Metallica) I get it. contracts, money, etc... not really good enough in my eyes, but whatever... they didn't have tons of options if they signed that contract. But I NEVER would have imagined sending them a message telling them how to run their own careers. that's insane... if I knew how to be a rock star I wouldn't right now be typing in the YT comments field. 🤣 people SO stupid. Me too. 😂
