Its madd crazy cause I was in school in NYC the Bronx particularly in 1996 to 2000 it was wild just like prison foreal. The Netas' and Latin Kings ran the school. They use to not so much pick on the black kids, but they pulled they're weight around. By 1998 man Bloods was eatin' everything moving, even innocent was getting there face blasted. Bloods had the reputation that they was monsters. They was slashing the face of innocent bystanders wearing the color red, and they stuck together. Its amazing how everything in prison spills out into the streets. Crazy part tho is on the streets Bloods and Latin Kings didn't have issues that was in prison. They fell under the 5 just like the Bloods same values almost same codes. The real beef was Latin Kings and Netas... them brothers was at war on the streets. And the UBN was beefing with the Jamaicans who aligned themselves with Eastside Crips they rode the 6, some of them was Rollin 30s Harlem Crips which was strange🤷♂️... Get a pod cast poppin from the YGs the next generation that came after them. It's like a never ending story. High school was like tha island UBN, Bloods, Crips, GodBody, Latin King, Netas, Nature Boyz (Jamaicans), 5 Percenters.
@thenotoriousvlog59865 жыл бұрын
I was rolling with the kings back in 98-2002 and beyond that. Even the crips respected and the bloods didn’t rock any colors. Only in the streets was a different ball game with different wars. In my school the Kings has shit on lock!

This was a great interview! I really enjoyed listening to these brothers giving their prospective of the happenings of those times especially those that were present at the time. It’s always good to hear the OGs kicking it and dropping knowledge. You can tell from listening to these stories that these are 2 righteous good men. They both tell their stories very well as if it happened yesterday. They gave us a good visual of who what when and where and why while hitting every point. I can listen to stories like this all day. It’s truly fascinating how us as humans come together and adapt to create a movement just to survive the circumstances around us. These stories are real, raw and organic. With all due respect, don Pedro Albizu Campos never attempted to run for office in Chicago or anywhere else in the U.S. or P.R. Pedro Albizu Campos was in prison when the Chicago Latin Kings were first established and was incarcerated throughout the 1950s-early '60s. Albizu Campos passed away in 1965 due to complications of the effects of being tortured in the U.S. prison system.

Campos running for office? Guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
@richieblondet23105 жыл бұрын
@@elvinvelazquez1679 Maybe he mixed up the scenario but it does have to do with don Albizu? The Young Lords movement initially began in Chicago as well. Anti-social Street gang turned political movement. The Chicago Kings may have just partially formed for the same reason King Blood established a non-sanctioned chapter in NY. It was necessary and called for at the time (and the place). It could be that the Kings, very much like the Lords, were INSPIRED by don Albizu. Who was in prison for his public calls of sedition by Puerto Ricans against the USA and being charged as the mastermind of the 1954 shooting assault on U.S. members of Congress, back when the Latin Kings launched in Chicago. I could believe that was an influence. Maybe that's what the brother in the video was referring to?
