Jake's always been one of my favorites. Because he was WAY ahead of his time cutting his promo's etc...While everyone else was yelling and screaming he was cold and calculated. However, his personal story truly is a tragic one. And it's really no surprise why he was an addict to alcohol and drugs. He needed something to numb that severe trauma and pain. I will say this though. His father got what was coming to him in the end. All of that rape and incest the lord made him pay for his dirty deeds getting Alzheimer's. Jake needs to thank his inner strength and the close friends he did have in getting him through what most will have killed themselves over. His a very strong man internally and i strongly feel that's why despite all of his own afflictions. The lord kept his safe and alive and got him through. God bless you Jake. I hope you are living the best life you can now.

Much respect to Quiet Room for focusing on Jake’s childhood over petty wrestling dirt stories. The platform to explain his personal trauma, not an easy listen and can tell Jake cut thru the pain but still open up. Jake isn’t talking about it so you feel sorry for him, definitely isn’t a “poor me” motive or done to get attention. He’s trying to share his story to shine a light on the evilness out there and give other victims strength in their internal battle they have inside themselves everyday. How addicts might be numbing themselves out and take in account why instead of believing stigma they are selfish or weak for falling into addiction. I can’t say it how I want but simply hope Jake talking on this helps those who can relate to his experience.
