Such camera movements are common in Chinese Dance filming. It is strange just for first time and it is actually better than fixed camera because of showing dance at different angles and distantions.

Actually 浮光 meaning "flowing light" is, I gather, the name of the style of the dance. The name of this piece is 朱雀 meaning "vermillion bird". It's a mythical creature symbolizing a constellation in traditional Chinese cosmology. It's a kind of Phenix associated to the color red. Lookup Wikipedia to know more about this beast. I deduce that the scenes in white refer to the White Tiger , another companion mythical animal of the vermillion bird
