Thanks for the analysis and explanation. Just finished watching the 1st season of Emily in Paris. The “standard American style” comedy-drama which French would disadmire at all. It’s not realistic, full of American stereotypes of France. I couldn’t even understand the language which called “Mandarin” the Chinese character spoke. 😑 But anyway, it’s still satisfying to watch it as an entertainment. Maybe because it’s a bit related to my current situation in Sydney. It’s really hard to fit in a totally different culture/country/language social circle than yours. Besides, Lily Collins is too beautiful to be real. 🥺 Can’t wait for the 2nd season!!!
