I love how bern and lambda are outside the painting showing the nature of a voyager witch, existing even outside battler and everyone else's world, showing that they are nothing but characters in a story because they exist in an even higher realm.

The ones outside the painting are Bern, Lamdba, Ange, Will, Lion and Beatrice. All of them work too. Bern and Lambda because like you said, they are voyager witches. Ange because shes not from the gameboard either but rather from the world of 1998. Will is a retired inquisitor from outside. Lion is from outside from another fragment entirely and Beatrice is the creator of the gameboard itself. The art for the first half of the series thats like this also has such meanings.(pbs.twimg.com/media/Elb2SfFXEAIRvzU?format=jpg&name=large) It features the various magical beings in the painting with him outside of it but features the Stake Sisters halfway out of the painting pulling him into it.

The Touhou inspiration was obvious in this one, we all know that. But I just now realized that a mashup of this with Reach for the Moon~Immortal Smoke would totally work. For the obvious part just listen to the beginning of both tracks. But the...idk, progression(?) of both tracks match up pretty well

Twilight, just like Matsuribayashi in Higurashi, is a lot more interactive than the rest of the series, there's a 16 question long puzzle game at the beginning where if you answer all of the questions correctly you get an extra scene, the final game in which you are to identify the culprit, and two alternate endings which you get to choose between.

The Touhou is strong in this one. I can't explain well why I like this one so much but it's the same reason I love Touhou music. The part at 1:14 is my favorite by far, those organs hit just right.

They do. Lambda assists Battler and Ange in invading the City of Books, where all knowledge is kept, to retrieve the Book of the Single Truth. Of course, Bern is there, so she and Lambda have a go.
