Boxers nowadays wanna become the new mayweather whereas they try to protect the 0 going against not many boxers who are in the top 10 in the 135 division (this also includes other divisions as well). This is why the 135 division is so exciting but boring at the same time because none of these top 10 boxers face each other to see who’s the best and this is why it’s exciting cause we wanna who’s the real champ. I hope George keeps his word and fights these top 10 boxers cause most of them are all talk but no bite. Look at Muhammad, Tyson, Sugar, Manny, Julio, etc these are boxers who has losses but people still consider them the top 10 boxers in the whole world. Stop protecting the 0 it doesn’t give you a bad reputation, it just gives you a lesson to get better and improve. Look at Canelo, he lost against Mayweather and learned a lot in that fight and now he’s undisputed in the 168 division and is still fighting champ after champ after champ. I respect George's passion and introspection about those fighters protecting thier zero and playing chess avoiding the elite fighters. Reminds me of Manny and tbh Loma. Five belts in 15 fights and not afraid of the zero, wanting to be in there with the best, fight after fight, even giving up some purse to fight, taking out rematch clause to give into Lopez' demands, just to land the damn fight. George Kambosos is a really stand up guy, true gentleman. Also he speaks the truth. Some of these fighters need to take a risk and go for broke but they’re too concerned about getting their first loss. I also agree that he shouldn’t take tune up fights. Georgie always has to be on the big stage.
