It might not be the same Kai 开as in Kaixin. That character simply means open. Kai 凯meaning triumph or victory is a popular boys name in China. That being said kaixin 开心 is one of my favorite words in Chinese. Kai means open and xin means heart. I say to be happy you have to have an open heart. Learning Chinese has not been hard for me because I think the language is so beautiful!

Lawu is surrounded by love and care from her husband, mother-in-law, and mother, and sister-in-law. I am still amazed at how alert the baby is and his eyes wide open. I had 3 children and their eyes were closed for the first couple of weeks and they slept a lot. Much joy and happiness to the families.
