Assistito l'anno scorso a un suo concerto a Bolzano. Formidabile. Standing ovation finale di tutto il pubblico.

So rare to hear Liszt with this kind of understanding and poetry. Singular.

I remember you playing this at the Lizst competition, which I saw broadcast on Stingray Classica. That was my first experience hearing you, and I was so impressed.

Dies Irae is such a tragically beautiful bit of music placed into pieces and it’s just… immense in Totentanz. Wonderful emotion

Slight correction: The piano solo arrangement has its own Sears Number. It's not 126 like the original Piano and Orchestra version. It's S. 525.

Captivating is the word that comes to mind, after listening to Lisitsa's version hundreds of times - which for me is the gold standard, it was great to hear how some softer playing in numerous locations actually makes the music more compelling. I will have to watch more of your performances.

What a true new sensational pianist in the community! Such tremendous talent. I like the dynamic shading you applied in various moments where it added more dimension. You need to record this in a studio to do your playing justice. Some of your playing decisions I actually like better than Valentina’s version. Keep going! The world needs you.

I prefer the version with orchestra but this is a stellar performance!

Personally I prefer the piano solo version. Maybe because it is the one I heard first, played by Arnaldo Cohen. The version with orchestra has naturally more colours, the solo piano version has clearer textures.

Could you indicate where to find this version?? I only find the other one which I am learning, I think this one could be a little less difficult(only the after coda part)

hi , i noticed you are playing octaves with only your fifth finger same as me but most of the pianist plays black key ocatves with 1-4 fingering and suggest it (including my teacher). but i can't comfortably use my fourth finger on black keys , So what you think about this ? I will appreciate it if you answer because this is realy annoys me.

The performance starts really well, but goes downhill. It is difficult to build an architecture, or a real arc, in a series of variations like this, but it can be done. Don't lose momentum, and step back and look at the overall picture. I didn't have the score with me while listening so can't remember at which point you lost the forward progression, but you'll know. Good, though, don't lose heart.
