It is a very interisting theory, the effect ripens earlier. I have read somewhere (i forgot) that some dharani has this kind of effect, and some dharanis also has the effect to hold?? the effect of bad karma so it will not ripens. Does it also applies to nianfo, by reciting it will hold the effect of bad karma so it will not ripen (either in this life or when we rebirth at the pureland) or it will make either bad or good karma to ripens earlier in the case of bad karma it will ripens earlier but with milder effect. Does any dharma brother/sister has any comment on this. Thank you

Karma is caused by a cause. A cause needs a conditions to ripe. A seed needs soil, water, sun to become a plant. In Western pureland, there is no condition for bad karma to ripe.

Thank you brother Chaos Sword and brother Kunzang. I understand that by the power of vows of Lord Amitabha such seed will not ripen as it does not has the soil of condition to ripen in the pureland. But what about the seeds in this life. Will nianfo also cause the soil for them to grow (specially the bad one) to be gone, or it will still there but on such mild one we almost not feel it. As you may know many mundane people (me) still dread for result of bad karma. Will nianfo also ripen earlier my bad karma in this life?. As such maybe i should not have the effect in this life if i am not reciting nianfo, i will have it at my next reincarnation, but because i did nianfo, i have it but not as bad as it should because of nianfo. Thank you for kindness dharma brothers
