Liz Murray: Life doesn’t wait for anyone, life doesn’t wait for anyone and your life isn’t later, your life is right now. As we leave here just connect with that vision for yourself. Ask yourself what if, identify what’s in the way and realize life doesn’t wait for anyone your life is right now.

I'm happy you didn't settle to be just a drop out with minimum wages or a lost soul with no future. America is great for having free education. You exceeded beyond your upbringing. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤🇺🇸❤

She took morning class, night class, Saturday class, Sunday class......every class she can take. And that's how most Asian students did. Probably more than 1800000000 students in Asian study like this or even harder. But her story is really inspiring.

The point is that it is not about the hours put into the classes, but where she came from and the challenges she had to overcome to reach where she is. Many Asian kids are blessed in some sense that parents very often focus on their education and the kids do not have to worry about having a home to stay, getting sufficient food, nor having to take on the parental role to take care of their parents. What is inspiring is not how much she has to study nor getting into Harvard, but the seemingly insurmountable challenges she had to overcome to get there (given the environment she was in) and more importantly, her attitude.
