I love how ever since RMC blew up, pretty much every new coaster has RMC elements like wave turns, crazy sideways airtime hills, double downs, etc. Like seriously, RMC made the coaster industry so much better.

I'm on the fence with that. Mainly because while RMC elements are very fun and intense, it's also resulting in a homogenization of ride designs.

@@VestedUTuber this might be true, but every manufacturer has their different way of making these elements themselves, for example, the wall stall on Lrod is completely different from the one on pantheon, but that wall stall is also completely different from the one on Candymonim.

Funny considering this ride is in fact the tallest and fastest roller coaster in all of Denmark. And that's by a fair shot too, its a whole 40 meters/approx 130ft tall, while the closest contender, Piraten, is only 32 meters/ just over 100ft tall. Heck the only things that were taller than Piraten in the past were a single boomerang that's now in Iraq, and an old Invertigo that's now in France.
@benwinegarner47972 жыл бұрын
@@drdewott9154 yes that is true, but I don't think those stats are it's strength. If that makes sense. I think it's just a solid, complete and we'll balanced coaster. I probably could have made my statement clearer. Sorry.

With Vekoma's new coasters like Lech coaster or Fønix I just love how they feel like classic roller coasters in a sense. Most roller coasters tend to have some gimmick or ride aspect they are focusing on, like a typical Mega, Hyper or Giga will almost never have an inversion, just twists and airtime, how most loopers will only focus on inversions and mostly have some interesting sitting position, meanwhile here we just have a roller coaster without any gimmick or focus. Just a lifthill, twisted track, balance between inversions and airtime hills and just the way I imagined a roller coaster as a child.

I imagine Vekoma redesigned their tracks to separate themselves from their previous public perception. Would anyone else agree they wished they didn't do this? The design of the old-school Vekoma track is iconic, and also simply really cool. Not to mention the history behind the design with their roots with Arrow. Say what you want about Vekoma, they have heritage in the coaster industry. P.S. RIP Goliath.

It's a really good move for optics with the GP, most people avoid Arrow/Vekoma rides because of the headbanging without knowing anything about the ride other than their reputation for pain. GP don't even know what an Arrow or Vekoma is but they know what the track looks like.
