So funny! Plays on the ever-present "I think they are talking about me" thing when people hear another language they don't know. Of course, in this case... she was! But it was all for a good cause... ha ha.

Her tone was so sour, it was so obvious, lol. The Vietnamese people at our local nail salon never sound like that! I mean, if they are talking shit, they know to hide it!

@@CrazyPangolinLady I mean it was obvious that she was trying to agitate them, but in the end, they never really caught onto why aside from snob. She never really meant Ill, just giving them the right push to learn.

The premise of this film was quite clever. I actually have a copy of the green book that the lady bought in the bookstore. The cover is worn, and there are a few notes inside, but all the pages are there and it is quite useful. My sisters are interested in genealogy and we have at least one Irish ancestor. Other than that, the family tree is quite diverse, with relatives from the British Isles, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, and Poland. My father’s first language is a minority language in northeastern Italy called Friulian, which is in the same category of Romance languages as Rumantsch and Ladin.

@AnGhaeilge5 жыл бұрын
Our language is still alive, but it is not spoken as widely anymore. During the Irish famine, most of the Irish speakers died or emigrated which impacted the number of speakers. I don't understand what you mean by "Are we English right now"? Are you asking if we speak English? If so, yes - we speak English. But also some of us (like me) speak Irish also.
