婦人従軍歌 Fujin jūgun ka The song of Military Nurse of Japan Red Cross 1. 火筒の響き遠ざかる 跡には虫も声立てず 吹きたつ風はなまぐさく くれない染し草の色 Hodzutsu no hibiki tōzakaru ato niwa mushi mo koe tatezu fuki tatsu kaze wa namagusaku kurenai someshi kusa no iro The roar of the cannons has left far away, and then, even insects don't chirp. Carrying the name saying "mother of civilization" on their backs, they nurse with all their hearts. The color of their hearts is Red Cross.
