had the f-stop guru 25l which was to small, got a deal on the Lotus 32L and well its a bit large for my style of landscape run and gun. yes both have issues with small equipment getting between the ICUs , but the build and comfort is great . may have to look at their f-stop kashmir ul 30l - ultra light - anyone have it ? yes the Porridge is too hot or cold.

Does it fit a 16" Macbook inside the sleeve of the main compartment?

Did you reviews the lotus core 28l? I have an old Lola UL but is tearing apart and need a replacement. Sometimes I packed full but for the majority I didn’t so I want to resize a little the pack. I use small icu because I have a Leica M setup

I’ve had the 37 liter Loka backpack for about 9 years or so. It’s good but I will say that the hip belt is a compromise. Because of the back access feature, there is no “wrap around” hip belt. Instead, you just have the two flaps. Which means the weight of the bag is basically transferred through three contact points: one on your lower back, and two on either side. When doing longer hikes I notice I keep tightening the belt more and more, because I think it’s not actually enough for those activities. For my next bag, I’d like something slightly larger, still carry-on compatible, but also with a better hip belt. Oh, and with a better laptop compartment as well. Still, I think F-Stop makes very nice bags for what they are. It’s just that I don’t really use the photography specific features so much. It was my intention to do so, but I got a separate bag for that, and I use the Loka as a one-bag travel solution.

Why don't you stop adding a fake use time like "3 weeks of use", it's just BS, and nobody cares. Just makes the channel look like a scam.

Hi , great review . But to be honest this pack is too much complicated and unpractical. Peak design, wandrd , Goruck are far far better camera pack / backpacks .

For my needs - filming out in the high mountains all seasons - this bag and its bigger sibling the Anja are perfect. Need to safely add ice axes and high mountain gear, and the rugged build is so important. I've had other bags zips break on me in critical situations, meaning the end of a shoot before losing all my gear. These zips are seriously solid. For me, this bag is totally practical - each to their own use case hey 😉 Thanks for the review!
