Jim Millen ur name is familiar. Do u have a grudge against galway? there is room for both, no replacing is necessary. james didnt replace rampal, he could not, its impossible to replace :)

Maybe he is the best virtuoso flutist in the world but as for music I prefer other kind of sound and musicians (like Pahud for example). However, Bouriakov for several aspects is impressive.

Здорово!Вызывает сомнение лишь тот факт,что ушедшие в мир иной композиторы,создавшие свои гениальные произведения для скрипки ,сделали это не случайно и вряд ли они хотели бы слушать их,пусть и в блестящем исполнении Дениса,на флейте.Скрипка более богатый в тембровом отношении инструмент,выражающий глубину человеческих чувств.В скрипичных шедеврах живёт душа скрипки и кто слушал их в исполнении Когана ,Ойстраха,вряд ли воспримут что-либо иное.Тем более для флейты существует пласты неоткрытого репертуара,который каждый концертирующий флейтист обязан сыграть,а не идти по лёгкому пути,играя хорошо знакомую,популярную музыку,тем более не имея на это морального права-это пустое филистёрство!
