F-Zero AX Monster Ride Arcade (2004) 4K/60FPS - All tracks 1st Place Triforce - Dolphin Emulator

F-Zero AX Monster Ride (2004) Triforce arcade game playthrough, the real CYCRAFT edition! Watch it in 4k for best viewing. The game is being rendered at a 4kish resolution with the correct aspect ratio. I played through all 6 tracks and then at the end of the video i moved the cursor to each track and each of the vehicles so you can see what they all are. I'm sure there will be at least 1 person who is interested to see it given the limited amount of information that seems to be around about this game. Unlike the regular version of AX, this version doesn't use cards.
You can select all the vehicles by default and there's a slider after you pick the vehicle that you can change to sort of change the config of the vechile.I left all of the podium win scenes in because they're just too cool. There's no continue so each game played is standalone but i edited out most of the credits screen each time for continuity. I'll upload a full attract mode run through soon.
The was some steering lag in the controls i was using, so some of the gameplay might seem not so great, i got used to it after a while and your brain compensates but it makes some of the later tracks a bit more difficult on such a fast paced game.
00:00 - Boot and attract mode (small part of attract)
01:01 - Game start, character and vechile select
01:35 - Track 1 - Mute City, Sonic Oval (Easy)
05:35 - Track 2 - Aeropolis, Screw Drive (Easy)
10:07 - Track 3 - Outer Space, Meteor Stream (Normal)
14:35 - Track 4 - Port Town, Cylinder Wave (Normal)
18:55 - Track 5 - Lightning, Thunder Road (Advanced)
24:56 - Track 6 - Green Plant, Spiral (Advanced)
31:05 - All Tracks and all vehicles
The game runs at a slightly odd aspect ratio, almost 4:3 and that's the way i recorded it.

I'd hope this gets released online at some point. I feel like since every character is select-able in this version, it'd be the best version to use for online multiplayer in the future.

xlink kai or some other system link online service would be great for this version of the game, i can see it now, usb logitech steering wheels and pedals racing with players all over the world

Yep, and there's no card reader for it. I read somewhere that monster ride was faster in gameplay than the base version, but not sure about that.

When I tried running this game in Dolphin, the framerate was low, it never hit 60. I was able to run normal AX and GX fine. How did you get Monster Ride to run smoothly in the Triforce Dolphin build?

How did you get it to run in Dolphin? I can't get cycraft emu to detect dolphin and get past the cycraft searching screen

You need a gecko code to fix the slowdown in the latest builds: Slowdown Fix 0043137E 00000000 and the same person that did that code (mamefan2018, a true legend) also made a code to bypass the need of using cycraftemu: Bypass Cycraft 0043137B 00000086

Since there isn’t a card reader or Memory Card Slot that unfortunately means you can’t reach the credits.

This version was more about hte simulator than it was about the credits, i think you're basically playing for the motion sim experience.
