sega composed the music and developed the game supervised by nintendo hence the Arcade version. ported over to the gamecube as GX....

late, but a subdivision of Sega (iirc the ones also behind the Monkey Ball and later Yakuza/Like A Dragon games) developed the game under supervision by Nintendo. amazing collaborative game, even today
