In my opinion, the creative era of games ended around when the DS released, It may be only me but after that most non-indie games felt a little too samey. But yes, 90's were Golden if we speak about creativity
@commscan3142 жыл бұрын
@@schizophrenic_rambler It's because the games in the 1990s evolved with their limitations, and the choice between making a game on Genesis or Super Nintendo wasn't console market share or gambling on which would be more popular, it was the strengths and weaknesses of their hardware. Want a graphics and sound intensive game? Super Nintendo. Want an extremely complex game that needs a lot of CPU usage? Genesis. Multi-platform games were a lot rarer, simply because a lot of the time developers needed something that wasn't on one but was on the other.

Remember when we were all floored when a game console achieved the ability to scale, rotate, flatten, and perspective correct a bitmap pixel image? The jump from 8-bit 3-color 8x8 or 16x16 sprites to full real-time bitmap transformation on 16-bit hardware was a revolution. Gaining the ability to perform Ray-Tracing Lighting looks rather pedestrian by comparison.
@commscan3142 жыл бұрын
It's because ray tracing doesn't affect the ways you can play a game, it only really changes how the game looks. The ability of the N64, PlayStation, and Saturn to run 3D engines with full polygons changed the way their games were played compared to the SNES and Genesis, while ray tracing just makes shadows look better.

*a nada.

Must Have!

This bangs so much , imagine how amazing the whole experience of playing f zero on SNES launch day in 1990-91 would have been😃😃😃

I honestly only ever enjoyed the SNES F-Zero. So, F-Zero 99 is excellent.

I watched streamer playing f-zero 99 before finishing watch dogs 1 final mission and now I can't stop imagine Aiden Pearce driving through city full of chaos while this music plays on the background.

I'm not crazy about this game in general, but you have to admit that the soundtrack is banging.

Little story: I first experienced f-zero on my snes mini (that I still have) I really liked this game but the games I played the most were Mario kart, Mario world, yoshis island, dkc, and Kirby but damn I only came back to the track cause the direct that got f-zero 99 in it never noticed how good the soundtrack is till now

Does your keyboard just not have a key for a period? Did you know you can assign another key that you don't use to be your period? You need periods if you want to type coherent sentences.
