I feel like we have to start giving AI information as to what certain things are. Like we have to start speaking to it so that it knows how to interpret things its creating. For example, sometimes the mini-map isn't right. Like it doesn't understand that the symbol is actually the race track.

Looks pretty weird imo but a F-Zero X remake absolutely needs to happen, that game has the best music and stages in the series as well as the best character designs for the drivers and a cool art style in general. Now add a story/arcade mode for each character, some of the newer mechanics from later games (I don’t know the names but GX and the gba games had some cool things), good online and maybe some fun variations to multiplayer and we got peak F-Zero!

Wow this looks awesome! F-Zero X with beautiful graphics like this and online play is all Nintendo needs to do to make the best installment in the franchise. If they really wanted to be revolutionary, how about a course editor like they did for the 64DD? How f'kin amazing would that be!? I'll add, the AI didn't really capture the sense of speed on this. The tracks need more horizontal details to show this, but this is beautiful and really awesome

The only reason Nintendo won't make a new full fledged F-Zero is because it doesn't sell like Mario Kart. They will lie and say there is no way for new innovation when they know that's what nobody wants fans just want better graphics and more content.

Yeah, and on the mean time MK8D is on track to become the best selling game of all time. Fzero99 has given us some kind of hope that Nintendo is working on the franchise though, but they can come back some sort of it was the 99 franchise all along.

I'm not an expert but, I believe a real time to game AI filter of sorts would require some crazy processing power? Since it would be generating a video in real-time along with the gameplay, it can't have any delay. That would definitely be awesome though, and would change graphical remasterization if done correctly, right now there just needs to be an method.

what if F-zero would be like if they not tried to copy wipeout features in X and later did worse by copy and paste whole extreme-g game in GX... in X was ok, but in GX people noticed it, found that one of biggest lack of respect to extreme-g and even to own f zero saga, so they not liked it, that is why the game not sold enough... but we already forgave nintendo a long time ago, nintendo can go ahead

F-Zero fan here. Wow, this looks busy. Some parts of this I can't tell what's track and what's clouds lol. Cool effort though. It seems like F-Zero is just too weird for an AI model like this, so it has trouble interpreting it.

Not lack of physics, F-Zero has physics. This AI model doesn't seem to understand/interpret F-Zero's physics, so it just looks weird.

@@DemonDisc AI image generation completely destroys the usability of the game, and in this light, I feel that it is not a good match for a solid game composed of simple symbols. It is possible to solve this problem by completely limiting the visuals by providing the materials to be used on our side, as in DOOM, but such a photorealistic scene would be lost. (After all, it's all about the creator's taste)

Yeah I had to make the decision to stretch it into 16:9 so that the AI can recognise the smaller details. It also fills out the black spaces outside the footage with random visual gibberish. But I will consider that and thanks for bringing it to my attention.
