If they make a Switch F-Zero game, they NEED to bring back this speed/power metal style to the music. GX's soundtrack got the job done but it just did not have the same face-melting intensity as something like Fall Down to the Scream, nor the hairline tension of The Long Distance of Murder. When you turned on F-Zero X and heard that first lick at 0:00, you knew you were in for a fucking RIDE.

Idk man gx feels, sounds and looks too "sega arcade-ish" to me, fzx on the other hand, makes you feel part of a steampunk, gritty, fast and brutal racing sport with a remarkable soundtrack on its base. They need to develop a sequel in-house, 50 player online races, ranking system, events, the works! Mario kart is way too done imo, they should treat f zero as their new racing flagship title.

@@Brunn0121 Mario Kart is fun for casual gaming, but competitive gaming in this is terrible, because it is too much based on luck instead of skill and experience, that's why people usually play F-Zero, not because Mario Kart is bad, but because F-Zero reward you for real for your pure skill, and in Mario Kart you can be the most skilled player in the world, you still are gonna to 8th because there's a flying blue shell, one red, one random green, and when you finally accelerate a little bit, here comes the bullet bill and star, oh hell, damn those items, I just want to Falcon Punch every character of this kart game.

Totally agree. X it's soundtrack will f..... you up. Such a hard hitting soundtrack. Adrenaline inducing. Gx had this techno kinda vibe going on. While X had that edgy stuff. If you lose in X you will go f......ck and repeat because the stages is soundtrack will make you headbang. GX soundtrack made the game feel more like wipeout or something.

People can play Mario Kart all they like, but F-Zero X is my favorite racing game of all time, and objectively one of the best video games out there. For a thrilling dose of speed, I'd take this game over Sonic any day.

F zero REALLY didn‘t have time to even THINK of caring about graphics. Thank god they did, because a low framerate would‘ve been your doom in this game... okay multiplayer cuts it down to 30, and that sucks but it still maintained those 30 fps.

I'd say the graphics were pretty accomplished for what's on display. 30 machines at 60 fps and a nailed draw distance. They also got the art direction right for what they could do on the N64. F-Zero X has aged very well, in my opinion.

Having played all the F-Zero games including the new multiplayer one, this had the best music and big time feel in my opinion. Hope we get a remaster, or a new single player experience that uses this as the measuring stick.

Very difficult to be honest. Disk Drive games are Japan exclusive and, although you can download and play the japanese Switch Online service, Disk Drive games are not like Famicom Disk System games. But, I don't know, maybe they put Disk Drive versions. I hope so too.

@@diegoarana5862 No one. N64 relied on MIDI, which means there was a preset of instrument sounds, and the code would basically create a music sheet which the game would read. In other words, this is purely digital.
