Great vid lads , as always, but you need to start taking handicap into account on these majors, and Ronan start at -4 and Paddy start at -6 so it's fair, dec will always have the edge being the lower handicap.

Hi guys, great major again. Why don't you play these majors like normal club comps with handycap's included ? Surely, this would make it fare as Declan plays off a lower handycap and has a greater advantage when you all play off scratch ?

Handicap system is bullshit you shouldn’t be rewarded for being shit - it’s only good for people starting out playing against others who’ve been playing for a while to make it a bit more competitive. These boys play everyday so if you can’t win off scratch then get better

Ronan talking about hitting a 7i 202 yards, it's because of the SGI irons. If they're paradym irons that 7i is like 29 degrees, basically a 5-6 iron. You boys might benefit from looking at some player irons, like T150s or something. Will lose some distance but will make yous better golfers, more control and less flyers like that shot.

Player irons are less forgiving than the ones they use. None of them I’d say are even 10 HC or better so player irons wouldn’t bode well.

@@dannyreese2685 I know they are, that's the whole point. You use player irons if you want to get better at the game, you use SGI (super game improvement irons) if you just care about getting the ball in the air and some extra distance. I don't think these boys need the help when it comes to distance and they'd see more improvement in their game if they had player irons. Any experienced fitter not trying to sell you a set of T350s would tell you the same.

Why do you all start level when you’re massively different ability wise. Use those handicaps to try and make it that little bit closer. Lowest starts level then the others start under par depending on handicap difference.

I think Dec has the best swing, then Ron then Pad. Although Pads swing certainly isn't terrible and he has a decent foundation to improve upon. He seems to do this weird thing were he drops his hands and really opens up the club face at the top of his back swing. Meaning he will hit it normally and the connection will be dodgy and it will go right, or he will try to correct it and end up snap hooking or just pulling the shit out of it.
