i remember being blown away by the visuals on this. the driving model was awful, you literally have to break as you turned into the corner which was horrendous to control, but those graphics still hold up

First F1 game on the PS3 and if I'm not mistaken, the only one with commentary. A bit dated now, but that's obvious overtime, but it's a classic. I always used to race in that view, but it seems more realistic in cockpit view with later games.

I need to dust off my PS3 and buy this game again to be honest. I don't why I got rid of it. It's mental how good this game still looks visually! F1 CE, Grand Prix 4, F1 97 and F1 2003 were my favourite F1 games back in the day. While I'm not sure if F1 97 and F1 2003 would hold up if I played them again, I'm willing to bet this game would probably hold up well and Grand Prix 4 would DEFINITELY hold up!

Man, how are you so confident on this game? The moment I have to overtake someone or defend from someone, I start driving like a chicken and make mistakes! Heck, I barely won a championship with a Renault, and that was with restarts applied for some BS (like wet weather race, for example)

Yes im on PC using the RPCS3 emulator Its not that hard to emulate you just have to find thd right settings for the game But you need to have some serious cpu power to play

thats not the hardest difficulty, cars doesnt even fight for position. Ive seen other play and overtake was simply almost impossible. Great gameplay anyway but dont lie, we love the game anyway.

Im not lying... The cars in the dry are so slow but they tend to do huge dives on each other But in the wet you cant overtake them Its on the hardest I never lie

Yes im using the rpcs3 emulator because i dont have a capture card to record it from my ps3 And i had to disable them because they are bugging and making huge fps drops and stutters

Yes its running on RPCS3 i played on it cause i cant record footage from my ps3 But its not that hard to make it run It took me a few weeks while i was experimenting with the settings but its running
