F1 2011 on my Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Playseat F1

@iTheGeek I obviously was not talking about the whole wheel but rather referring to the leather (personally I chose alcantara on my Roso which seems even more vulnerable) which will be ruined in the long run and need to be replaced. For that price I intend to make this wheel last a long time. I know how my gloves smell after a few long races and I don't want my wheel to smell like that. Besides racing with gloves is so much cooler and good ones give a nice grip, also you don't chafe.

Hi guys its the ZROSO steeringwheel, see more information on the ZROSO website. I'm really happy with it. I'm a Vodafone McLaren Mercedes fan, so I put a Mercedes logo on the wheel :)

Where did you buy this wheel? Looks like the Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel... but its a Mclaren one! :-) And it has the led lights...

do you actually use those small wheels to adjust brake bias and suspension during the actual race? im thinking of buying this wheel, but not sure if its worth the money. of course its a gorgeous collectible artwork, but i heard most people dont actually use the knobs for miscellaneous adjustments, such as the fuel mix, braking, downforce, etc

Lol thx! I wash my hands all the time even during races in between the runs. As said It's mainly for protecting the wheel and to get a much better grip and feel to it. It's much too late for me to start real racing and here in Switzerland there is no grass-roots motorsport. On the other hand I do get out a lot during the warm season racing model cars (I'm a multiple national champion) and only simrace in winter, where I drive in multiple leagues. Try gloves you'll never go back!

Well I can tell you the playseat itself gives you the kick whether it is F1 2011, NFS Shift 2 or even Flight Simulator X

Hi Rewiendk, How comfy is the seating position? I'm currently looking at the new Rseat Formula and whilst it looks fantastic I worry the F1 driving position will be uncomfy for long races!

great but your feet are not level with your shoulders in a f1 car. that f1 wheel on g27 looks 100x better then the crappy overpriced thrust master f1 wheel.

You're takin it to extreme to wear racing gloves for a F1 video game !! I respect your commitment to geting as close to the real thing as you can but if your gonna wear gloves then why not wear a fire suit and a helmet and why not put a heating pad on your back to re-create the engine heat !! OR why not get off the couch and get into somekind of a racing league if you're gonna go to this extremes to re-create a race then why not get out and do it for real ! AND maybe wash your damn hands !

@mayamanign Oh yes I build the base myself and it's quite simple. It's made with four wooden shelfs and eight table feets (because the playseat is heavy). The graphics on it I got from the internet. Just google pics for 'Vodafone McLaren Mercedes' and you will find them. Then print the logo and put it on the base.
