Watching your 2013 career mode season, Vettel and Button highlights from 2006-2013, and the 2014 F1 Season is what got me into F1 back in 2014. After Easter, started getting back into it, first races I started watching were the 2014 Monaco GP and 2014 Indy 500 (Indycar). Ah the memories, freshman year 😂

SMauler9 It's not necessarily a "game" game now is it? It's pretty damn realistic, or at least Codemasters tried to make it as accurate as possible to the real world F1 championships. So what else would you call it? A platformer?

In order for the F1 series to sell well, it must account for any player, meaning it is toned down by default. Then there are things like rFactor who are directly targeting the hardcore market, and therefore do not account for ease of play. So calling F1 a simulator is like calling Battlefield a simulator, they are both simulators for the masses. Although Codemasters did the best job I've ever seen at creating such games, because they are still some of the most immersive games I've played. I'm just very picky about what can be called a 'simulator'.

This is the one thing I hate about F1 2013. There isn't any way really where a Torro Rosso could finish 2nd. When I've played it I've managed to win the Championship in my first season with Williams - and we all know how poor they were in 2013.

It's because you can touch and bump AI cars in this game where in reality you would destroy both cars by doing it. Slipstream is a bit overrated as well in my opinion, which makes overtaking pretty easy with the weaker cars. A game or simulator like this is about a "glorified realism" though and that's exactly what this game is.

Look that he shifted to Reverse gear right before spin. With the speed about 80-100 km/h, shift to N then shift to R and accelerate with the steering wheel full turned to any side. You will need to do it quickly. It is not the real way, but it works.

Heya mate you need to be using manual gears and in gear 1 whilst travelling forward you switch to reverse and slightly move the steering wheel left or right and you will spin around 180 degrees :) Hope this helped!

It's probably the wheel spin problem for you. Try being a little bit gentler coming out of slow corners and you will get better traction and slingshot up the straights! Me myself run in Professional AI level because it has gotten much tougher this year! Good luck buddy.

Nice drive....I realized that I run very conservative when it comes to over all set-up. Thus, I tried your set-up and it took about 1/2 to a full second off my best time. Thanks for some good advice and good clean driving.
