Why you started with less fuel than the optimal?

I did that to help combat the engine wear I get every race. It did seem to help, because my engine only started showing signs of wear near the end of the race.

They should really update the game when the new season starts. You don't wanna race with the last years lineup and cars in 2017. Very poor from Codemasters.
