Like said before by someone, flying objects might be reflected towards the driver so there's an added risk. If you want to avoid risk, avoid F1. Compared to the past, the present is so safe. Bianchi should maybe have slowed down in that crappy car.

@@hockeyhighlights2445 Haha thanks for the reminder. What yesterdays crashed proved is that especially Grosjean needs the halo, not the other drivers. Did you check why Grosjean crashed in the first place? He just drove into Kvyat because he saw a small opening, but Romain was blind as always. But to be fair, there have been a couple times the halo has been a good thing. Not sure how many races we did since the halo was introduced, but at least 60. I still really don't like the vertical bar in front of the driver. I know the drivers don't mind, but I don't like it. That aeroscreen is nice but the reflections on the screen prevents you from seeing the driver. F1 cars are crazy things. If it wasn't for the rules they would be so different. Those open wheels are not even aerodynamic, you can better have covers like the LMP cars. And also a covered cockpit is more aerodynamic. You probably know that unlimited Porsche 919 Evo that broke a bunch of records.
