I used my McLaren gearbox for 6 races and I only lost a gear during practice at the Canadian GP. So you might be able to use it at least 5 races.

Whenever it's a one stop Ben, or any of the F1 youtubers, will normally say something along the lines of 7:30, e.g 'Only a one stop so we can't do anything'. Well you're wrong, like Renault used to do (even if they cheated lol) choosing a different strategy will yield different results. In a lot of scenarios where it's a one stop you can change tyres, so start on the harder set and end on the softer set - so when you're stuck in a que of cars you're not wasting good rubber, and later on when you're free you use the softer tyres, it's also better for safety cars. Many KZbinrs miss this and use the softest tyres first - as it usually presents itself after a wet qualy. I reckon if you adopted this, remembered to always get a new gearbox whenever you get a new engine (since you're starting from the back), worked on your starts and picking the right time when to attack, defend or let someone go you could be top 3 in constructors. Just my opinion, no one is perfect - I'll obviously have my own set of flaws and seeing yours is so interesting.

The same exact thing happened to me today in my force India career mode except I drifted for ten time longer and kept my fort down all the way and on the second time I flicked it and ended up drifting the next corner as well!! And saving it!!!

That RnD chart is an interesting thing to look at. Williams has done no upgrades. Renault, Williams, and Force India are all almost equal. Ferrari has caught Mercedes, and Red Bull is in a land of its own.
