I think there should be a rule in F1 that says for it to be considered a turn it has to be a specific angle. A kink to my mind would be something that is pretty shallow in angle and doesn't require for you to do anything else other than just slightly turn the steering wheel

I think your underestimating the engine. The only time your engine will produce smoke at 90% and then blow at 100%. You should've used that component instead of changing it
