The game said that the MGU-H had damage. This (as you probably know) is an electric motor connected to the turbocharger which helps to eliminate turbo-lag. I think what you've witnessed is the game simulating the loss of your MGU-H and giving you old fashion turbo-lag back

This George pitstop thing is why I would like to have an option in the game to know beforehand, what is the planned pitstop schedule for my teammate... I mean if you're the owner of the team, it would only be fair, if you'd know both of your strategies... obvs with changing wheather the strategy might change mid race, but at least it would be nice to know the original strategy, which would be used, if the weather would be the same the whole race...

On my team career mode, I'm currently one race into season 3. The AI simply haven't developed anywhere near as quickly as I have managed. My team's car is already nearing 1000 on the performance chart with Mercedes next on something like 750 only! Not sure if this is a bug or I have just been too smart for the game lol. Hopefully it is the former and this will get fixed so I can start a new career mode that has a more gradual progression instead of going from a back marker to a new dynasty in the space of 1.5 seasons. Yep, by mid-way in season 2, I started to dominate with the best car and haven't had any competition since apart from Ricciardo my teammate (i run 101-104 AI difficulty depending on the track and use PS4 controller). From looking at your team's trajectory Ben, it is very similar to mine. One other thing, keep up the good content!

That was a wing ding of a race! A bit of a hot mess, pretty sure Russell had some choice words for Ben post-race. Despite the bumpy start and a mix up with the pitstops, Ben was still able to settle in with a blistering pace and surge back up to the leaders. Damaged wings, dust in the throttle, worn engine, untied shoelaces and still manages to net a great finish at Monaco. Well done mate.

With your throttle issue i had something similar with my T3PA Pros, but it was on the brake and the inputs wasn't smooth... Had to take them apart and manually move the sensor to a better location then recalibrate the pedals and all was golden

Yeah Ben for me I went from midfield at the end of S1 to battling Mercedes at Spain in S2. To be fair I did stack up like 3 major upgrades in the first few races but I would have expected the AI to be on par or quicker than me on the development

Ben. Think about it. If the throttle trace says you are going full throttle when you floor it that means your peddle is fine. Im almost certain that this issue is caused by worn out engine components.

I had the same with the teams not upgrading. Ended up have MAJOR regulation changes and had multiple departments have changes. Didn’t find out until about 4 races left and had issues adapting parts

by the end of the first season i had 4 upgrades on my engine (mercedes) and had the best engine on the grid, i had 2nd best chassis, just behind merc and 5th best aero, bottom of reliability, by 1/4 to 1/2 through season 2 i had the best in all 3 performance departments and by the end of season 2 i had about a 150 performance index over merc, the midfield teams developed pretty well and a few caught up to ferrari, but merc and ferrari and especially red bull didn't develope that much, and no one came close to my development speed, granted i didn't fail many upgrades but still

Some times teams go flat for as long as half a season, then bring massive upgrades. Im in season 3 almost done - Maybe a glitch to cause all upgrades to fail for a while? Seems to happen to the top two or three teams excluding me tho

Here's my attempt to explain why the other cars have fallen behind on R&D (I'm in season 4). Factors at play: 1. REGULATION CHANGES: the top teams have far more developed R&D trees than your car, meaning they got nerfed more than your car - they have more parts to adapt and probably weren't able to adapt all the nerfed parts before the end of season 1. 2. R&D POINTS: this is a calculated estimate. I'm on season 4 and have had 4 different 2nd drivers (Schumacher, Matsushita, Russell, Gasly). During practice I bring in 550 points. On average: Schumacher bought in 350 points, Matsushita bought in 350 points, Russell bought in 400 points and Gasly - with a 96 driver rating - (my season 4 driver) brings in 500 points. So it's safe to assume that other teams are generating roughly 1000 R&D points from practice every race (this depends on your driver rating). So they have limited resources to adapt old parts and develop new parts - just like you. 3. ULTIMATE PARTS: I've got 2 ultimate parts left to develop for each of the four categories. Each ultimate part costs +2000 points and take a month to develop, if we assume that the same rules apply to the AI teams, you will see TOP teams jump forward in development every few races rather than gradually growing as a smaller team developing only minor and major parts would. Ps. There's another Nerf coming at the end of season 3. Start saving half way through season 3 don't leave it till you get the notification. The best teams in season 4 in my save are 1. My Team (The New Elite) 2. Redbull and Mercedes (tied in all categories) 3. Ferrari, Renault and McLaren (tied in all categories).
