Undercut is running faster on fresh tires than your competitors for a lap or two, which allows you to pass them as they box. The compromise comes to the end when you are on older tires, but then the competition would need to pass you on track.

If you want tog get a good start do 4 - 5 bars in acceleration and when the lights go out change into second gear and then down to first I always do this and I jump two people minimum every time
