Your brakes bias was too much to the rear and when you put 100% on the brakes the rear locked. So i recommend you to turn your brakes bias to 50% and turn your differential to 50%.

I agree. Also, he might've put too much rear downforce. That might've affected him badly as well.

@@Teknas89 More rear downforce would have helped him as the tires would not be spinning and sliding around everywhere. He did a front downforce upgrade before the race and no rear downforce upgrade. That’s why his rear tires were sliding and overheating

His brake bias was 58% forward bias which means that if he did 50% his rear tires would be locking up even more

If there's one thing I've learned in the past... 4-6 games is to never switch tires before the game decides its a good idea. Unfortunately these games do a horrible job of visually representing the state of the track. It could be visibly raining and asking you to switch to slicks, then it could be looking dry and inters still needed.

Fun fact: if rain stops at 5 laps to go never go to slicks just stay on intermediates tyres to make it slick at the end of the race

Rear tires are hot because they're taking all the abuse your suspension is supposed to take, plus tire pressure could be off as well.

You need to do some tuning mate. To help with hot tyres, just drop the tyre pressure to minimum. It takes barely any top speed away and improves cornering grip.
