Strategy fact: in that chicane you can be in 5th maybe 6th gear if your good but in the second one be at 3rd or 4rd gear and if you have tc off like you should for realism be at 4th gear for the first corner then 3rd gear at the second corner and use up as much of the track without damaging your sides from the speed bumps and have ers on so you can take off quicker to catch up if your fighting for 10th or 5th or 3rd or 1st if your not fighting for those positions save your tires For the next chicane do the same but be at 2nd gear for the second corner

For those saying "Input lag" it's not input lag, it's animation lag. the car turns when he turns the wheel, not when the wheel turns in game. As for if this is a legal overtake or not: It doesn't help that passing arrows are off so I can't tell if you are significantly alongside or ahead of at the apex, however, you do violate track limits, so I am going to call this overtake questionable at best.

Nice setup! Although slightly illegal its a good overtake. If you want to get better at the game try to mingle with the ai difficulty. Maybe try career or my team mode and run through the practice programs, these really up your level in a small amount of time! Then once you feel like you are getting the hang of it, try to slowly disable assists like traction control and racing line. These will really help you further in getting a feeling for the car and gaining knowledge on the tracks. Watching youtube videos by professionals also really helps, see where they overtake and gain laptime. This will really help you! Cheers from the dev team!

If not I heard they should be making one for console either this month or in November/December. But if you wanna switch out of Thrustmaster. If you are willing to spend some more money I’d go with fanatec but if you are on more of a budget then a Moza is still pretty good I hear
