@@onni3027 fuel efficiency upgrades are super overpowered honestly, annoyingly so at first they're kinda useless and you dont really notice them until after the second major upgrade, in my experience that has been the case at least. some tracks are just nigh impossible to fuel save on though, for me even passing the fuel saving practice programs at COTA and Silverstone is an absolute struggle, usually mid session save after the first two programs and then hit the fuel saving program in a season 3 my team car that has all but like 3 or 4 efficiency upgrades, granted it could just be how I go about saving fuel and *where I save fuel at those tracks* idrk but, some tracks are wickedly painful on fuel in codies games.

Well the AI pace is not consistent on every track. I for instance have to turn down the Ai by 1 or 2 clicks on certain tracks while the opposite is also true.

Go into replay mode and you’ll notice that the AI always have 50%~ ERS and perfect tyre temperatures at all times. They never lose temperature, even under safety cars or VSC. That’s how they’re OP 100% of the time.

Because ai can adapt damp conditions perfectly, which is impossible for any human (including esports aliens) to perform but it is still theoretically possible to achieve it

@@Milxno What's funny is that I've watched RealRadman's channel a few times playing NASCAR Thunder 2003. That was a great career mode, but it had the exact opposite issue. It was a breeze to get pole, but he'd mostly have to race dirty AF to stay anywhere near the top 15. Codemasters must have some sort of internal slider that controls AI speed, not sure why they don't just nerf AI speed a little. Then again, it gets stupid to make things "equal" by making the AI lightning in some corners and slow as erosion in others. Hopefully in 2022, they train better models that make the AI less insane around high speed corners; I get left for dead at Copse, Pouhon, the sequence of fast rights at Zandvoort, etc.

This track always has safety cars for me. The Ai always run into the back of eachother when one of them is heading into the pits because the racing line goes across the pit entrance.

Regarding fuel, I remember some of the advice you gave in a video once to downshift and keep your revs high to burn fuel during a safety car and get your fuel load strategically reduced. This would have been a great race for that tactic.

I had the same issue in my career in 2020, won two in a row. Couldn't get out of Q1 in the third race, they need a dynamic AI that adjusts based on your overall performance.

The pit entry on this track always cause havoc for the AI. Every race here there's minimum 1-2 crashes at the entry

man I miss this kind of thing in the F1 games, in my experience F1 22 doesn't send out as many safety cars when you run normal damage/damage rate as it did compared to F1 21, in my experience with this years games (which on ps4 has been a surprisingly smooth experience for me compared to PC especially) you need to run increased damage rate if you aren't running sim damage or you can go a fair chunk of a season without seeing one sometimes, I do believe that is a bug/glitch but even when things are running perfectly tracks like Baku, Singapore & Mexico are incredibly tame compared to what they were in previous games and when they're run irl. I never really noticed that until rewatching some of these older career mode episodes

How much lower should we drop the AI difficulty for Qualifying? That is the real question I’m asking… does a simple ‘1 click down’ mean the AI are 1 tenth slower? The disparity between each GP fluctuates too much to really gather an ideal AI difficulty setting. It’s really quite frustrating that Codemasters haven’t solved this but, it is what it is…
