hey, i have a question how exactly did you set it up? because when i try to play it keeps saying "the selected device is already in use" but we're using different controllers

Which console? We are using Microsoft's Xbox Series X controllers as well. Try quitting the game, restarting the console, launching the game and the first person should be prompted to sign in then start at 0:46.
