F1 23 World - Guide to Efficiently Reaching 1000 Tech Level

In this video we will be going trough what I believe to be the most efficient way to level your F1 World car. Keep in mind that you will probably quickly outpace the AI so keep some lower tech level parts to keep racing interesting.

Can you do a video on what you should invest your resources in and at what tech level

Honestly I think the best way is to just invest your resources into a unique to get to maximum. The trade for resources that you can do in game doesn't seem worth it at all to me. You can interchange cash and basic insights since they are 1-1 but wouldn't trade any of the other resources unless you get a limited offer. Once you reach 1000 or close for your unique you can start crafting greens or just get upgrades trough doing races, honestly it is not really difficult to get to 1000 and you don't get anything special for getting there.

@@AZEScottTroll Doing series works for progression, doing the highest you can will unlock more but they are mostly the same, which can get boring. I am just doing the events that are avaliable. The main thing you want for progression in terms of critical insights is the perk and contract for one of your staff, this will give you a minimum of 7 critical per event.

Im gonna explain in my bad english soz on that. Check the album, buy the parts of the picture can give u the unique, once u get It spend all resources to upgrade that one, all on that, (unique have Infinity upgrades if u have the resources) then u made a huge gap of lvl, next crafted or earned parts will be arround this new level

When should you start boosting tech level? cause i know you dont want to at anything below 500 base because youll probably just automatically get a better one after a couple races but when after that?

Well now the cap is more than 1000. My guess the new cap is 2000 now since after completing the season 2 event of f1 world, it unlocked a whole bunch of new events (which I don’t really wanna do because the races are 100%). If they keep upping the tech cap every season like they did, we should see the max tech cap at 5,000 or 6,000 near the end of the game cycle.

Can I play these races on C License and still get better and better parts? Why I'm asking is that License System is bugged for me and it resets every time i leave the game (f.e. I managed to level up to B today, but after launching the game again I don't have any). So I could still enjoy leveling the car up, but only in C Licensed races.

My License leveled normally so have no idea, but would assume so, the license system says better licenses would give better rewards but the main thing seems to be 2 more weekly races, one for class B and one for class A. Would be worrying though, does the game save progress properly?

@@NeroBax Yeah, I am getting better gear, finished Breaking Point etc. Just the license system not working properly. Basically every time i launch the game it says I don't have license so I have to launch Scenario and leave it right after the beginning so the whole License System could even get me into the prepared Series and Solo races. Funny thing is that I was reviewing this game before it was released, so I was hoping it might get patched in Day One patch. It probably was, but not for me :P I'm a bit worried I must say, because I'd be racing in A already.

Does tech level carry over into ranked races and is there any point to under tech yourself for handicap or extra xp?

Yeah there is a point sometimes you can have contracts going that give you extra xp and rewards for doing that and ranked races just provides another means to level up ur podium pass

I've been dabbling in the solo series too and noticed that my tech level was 109 but the other racers were in the 160 range. I had 44 items unclaimed (because I haven't been paying attention to what I was getting) and went in and just installed all of them but that only raised my tech level to 121. So 44 items only raised it 12 points. But I was beating the challenges even when I was at 109. You still have to install the items to raise your tech level right? Or will it increase on it's own just by completing the challenges?

I don't think you need to equip them, but you need to claim them in the garage I'm pretty sure for them to count towards your tech level.

I swapped them because I wasn't sure, but towards the end I would run a 950 car and receive 1000 parts. So I would asume you can keep them in your inventory and still get upgrades.

During the early release there was a double xp modifier, the purple one, the green one you can buy, but I had it for free, either from Deluxe or from EA Pro. If you go into the podium pass you should find the option to buy it for pit coins.

Crafting green ones are pretty cheap, other than that there isn't really a good way to farm specific contracts unfortunately.

I've completed several races and my Tech level is over 930, and I can't complete the 900 goal. Is there anything I'm missing?

The 900 (soft cap) goal applied in Season 1 of Podium Pass when the game launched. It is now Season 3 and the Soft Cap has increased to 1300 and the Hard Cap to 1400 (I'm guessing an increase of 200 per season). This goal only unlocked for me when I got the car to the current Soft cap of 1300 (even though the game hadn't updated the text).

For purely leveling battlepass it would probably be longer races on shorter tracks like Austria, I wouldn't worry to much about powerleveling the pass though as it will come naturally as you play.

You just need a single unique and level it up as high as possible until you reach cap. The unique brings up your average meaning all your drops for the other 7 slots will be upgrades, once you hit 1000 with your unique you can start making green upgrades for the other slots if you wanna speed up getting to 1000.

Pretty much as sickenzzzzz says Horner is a good choice, honestly the uniques won't really outdo any of the legendaries at 1000 tech level, we are mainly using them to level efficiently.

@@NeroBax Feels like the most useful unique by far, the higher chance of higher level parts boosts up the tech level nicely, especially once you have most of the parts at around the same level. I was a bit stuck at around 950 but creating new parts, either green or blue, got me to 1000 pretty quickly. I think the blue ones actually had a higher level overall and they're only slightly more expensive with key insight which this unique also helps with Btw what's your strategy for getting new legendaries once you're at 1000? Besides the weekly races, the seasonal goals seem to be the obvious way but do take quite a while. Making parts with critical insight is too costly

The thing is you want a team principal that gives +2 critical insight per event/race. You can also add a contract on top of that that grants another +5 critical insight per event/race for a total of 7. The contract says it has a chance of giving critical insight but the reality is that you get +5 for every race at level 2. With that you can usually get a new legendary every 3-4 races. You can also grind out 7 critical insight for 3 lap races with the custom grand prix, set them to brazil or austria and you can reliably farm out 100 critical insight an hour provided you have the contracts to spare. Would still just do series/multiplayer or whatever you prefer as you'll still get decent gains.

I've been noticing some of the seasonal goals to show up again even after completing them before, for example the one that is to do a race with all legendary parts, i did it earlier today, and now i noticed it's again on my seasonal goals list. I guess I'll take it for the extra 2 legendary parts but seems like a bug

1000 is maximum, although you can get parts to 1004 by getting a 999/994/989 and then upgrading them past the cap of 1000.

There are 6 rarities, common (Starter pieces), Greens (uncommon), Blue (Rare) ,Epic (Purple), Orange (Legendary) and Unqiue (Gold/Yellow). You want to upgrade a gold/yellow piece.

That said, obviously not your fault, but this game looks truly awful. 22 was bad, but 23 looks like they didnt learn what they got wrong, they just repackaged it and hoped we wouldn't notice. They just repackaged the EA nonsense around supercars and clothes from 22 and figured we'd tolerate their nonsense if it at least dresses up like legitimate F1 gameplay mechanics.

My issue is that instead of making a deep my team mode with weighty decisions, an solid mechanics.. they've reduced it to basically a shallow card game with the intent to use it to extract microtransaction payments, and given us a bunch of unbelieveable, childish and garish liveries. Tech level!? F1 IS the tech level. That's the point. I'm genuinely happy if people enjoy it, truly - and maybe I am just getting old, but this looks crap to me.

You car/team has a total of 8 slots, we want to get a unique for one of these and level it to maximum because uniques can be levelled indefinitely, while the other rarities can be upgraded a maximum of 3 times. By investing in a unique we save a lot of resources. You want to obtain a unique, and then invest all of your resources into it until you get to max (1000) tech level. You get a unique by byuing it trough the compendium, if you haven't unlocked the compendium you're gonna have to do a few series.

@@TheSlayterr The idea is that the high level of the unique brings up your average, then you can either just to races to get random drops that will be higher than your current ones or craft greens.
