Yep, at this point they should make it modular, so you can just buy a new season for half a price when it comes out and play previous seasons in career mode, instead of buying the same game with a new season for full price and not be able to play previous seasons in career mode.

​@robertribic6599 well, not exactly. Every year the driving mechanics change, all the cars get brand new models and the tracks are also redone, it's not as copy paste as say, Fifa, the players stay the same there, they have to update the cars, to every minute detail.

I have to say, Assetto Corsa with latest CSP and Pure along with current mods not only looks better but has better more tunable physics too. Not bad for a 10 year old game and a fraction of the cost.

I say this as an Nvidia tech lover but this ray tracing thing is clearly getting out of hand: tell me when have you ever seen an on-board during an F1 race in which the bodywork of the car's nose reflected the surrounding structures like a mirror... does not exist!!! not to mention the tires which at night look like alabaster and have completely excessive and crazy reflexes. the old graphics are more realistic without these excesses…

22 engine sound is crap 23 and 24 are light years ahead in terms of physics speed engine sounds and sounds in general wtf...the only good thing about 22 is the graphics being a bit better than 23 in rest 22 is shiet 23 and now 24 are the Kings with finally real engine sounds physics and more...in 23 and 24 i can have the maximum grip unlike 22 where i had ice like grip on every track!

"OMG a really realistic game looks really realistic on its next iteration! OMG!" Relax people, we are at a point where only slight improvements can be made at this point. Honestly they are reaching a limit. I am more concerned with them improving the handling. Not that I bought the last one, and I probably wont buy this one either, but then again if I find it on discount I might so all good. And as a first time purchase I don't feel robbed. I completely understand the notion of being annoyed however of being charged every year for a new game from the ground up, and I agree. This really should be more of a Season 2024 DLC pack for like 15 bucks. And thats it. I mean, its better sure, but its practically just that, a season update. As a newcomer to the franchise, again I might get my hands on this one if I find it for a discount (which I assume will be soon, lol). Foe me its not a ripoff, I did not buy 2023 or any previous version. So all good. Just like I just bought EA WRC for 20 bucks. Its not like I am craving for an F1 game THAT much, but would love it to be in my collection at some point, so might as well wait for a discount. After that, doubt I will be purchasing another version until several years later and again probably at a discount. We can blame EA for this notion they have with "EA sports"... Every year they sell the same games reskinned and slightly improved. And there is a huge casual audience that eats it right up. Many of those people for example buy only 2 or 3 games max a year, so they really don't care. Actual gamers though see this as robbing us blind. Or trying to at least. I hope with the new naming of WRC (EA Sports WRC) that they don't start down the same path for that franchise as well. That would be ultra annoying.

Virtually no difference…. We’ve now reached the point in graphics .. particularly in this game …. where everything looks way too pristine clean, modelled and false… the next step surely has to be to actually make it look like real life…. Dirt, grime ….. wear on the gloves… wear on the interior of the vehicle.. and of course the exterior world around the vehicle. That is the next big step for this game. Static physical modellers have known this for decades.. why don’t graphics programmers know it?

Wet asphalt is WAAAAY better and more realistic in F1 24, this must be given to Codies. Generally asphalt texture and audio seems way better, to me, but the car bodywork has definitely too much mirror effect: this ray tracing thing is clearly slipping out of hands…

There is literally 0 to no oversteer input in wet conditions 🤦🏽‍♂️...I own a 500hp ROAD car and I STILL have to make corrections in my steering inputs.... especially if I get on throttle on a wet road. Too many other sims even got steering corrections in wet weather, more than these F1 GAMES

You know like new release of iPhone in just 2 years interval. The new is basically the same, you just pay the hype. So… is everyone in the comments only going to hate and trashtalk about how the game looks the same? 1) first of all, yess graphically wise the game had some minor changes but to everyone it looks the same. But do you guys know exactly why that is? Or are you just going to hate on it without even taking the time to do the research before putting out your comments out there/here? The reason the graphics look the same is because the graphics already look amazing for these days, if you go back in time of the F1 games with 23 and 24 its alot better. Also Codemasters working under EA are using the EGO game Engine whereas EA for the Fifa or now FC games use Frostbite Engine. At this point the EGO Engine has met its maximum performance Graphically wise so that’s why there is no amazingly change to the graphics which is totally normal if you know how game Engines work. If they switched to Frosbite Engine or even Unreal Engine, then you will see some amazing changes because those engines can perform alot better than the EGO Engine can but can also deliver much more amazing and realistic graphics. 2) Is no one going to talk about how the suspension compared to F1 23 is hugely improved??? Absolutely no one talks about it but yet its something new for F1 24. They completely 3D animated the suspension to behave like it actually does in reallife and not like in F1 23 they don’t move at all which isn’t realistic. This will also take in effect for corner entering, tyre wear, etc… which will all have effect on by the overhauled suspension this years game. 3) no one talking about how for this years game they changed how the drivers look. The fully 3D scanned them with the techniques that are used to scan the football players for the Fifa or FC now games, do take in note that fifa uses Frostbite Engine together with their scanning technique so in the EGO Engine there are some limitations to it but nonetheless search them up look at the trailers and deep dive video’s on EA about F1 24 because they showed us how the drivers look way more realistic and its so amazing and such a big step forward compared to F1 23 where we had the dummy looking drivers as fake as it can get. 4) They overhauled F1 Career Mode and no one is talking about this, new ways implemented to feel more realistic and immersed into your career gameplay, new cutscenes, podium scenes, etc, acclaim has been taken out and replaced with something else that makes more sense, upgrading and updating is way better. 5) we have the cars with their real looking liveries and models ofcourse each year but still mentionable. 6) there is lots more that we will explore once the game hits release day but most of you first need to do your research before you go out here hating on a game that is so called copy paste when it actually is not, also go and do a event where you can visit a gaming studio and see how they work and how all that work is done or watch the behind the scenes from the Last of Us Part II 2hour video I think and you will see how hard it is to make games, so these people that make games for you to like and have fun with deserve way more credit for their work
