Says a lot about how dominant the RB was back then, nothing much else as even Mark had a lot of laps led(when RB let him and wasn't screwing him over anyways) If RB had competition back then i doubt Vettel would have gotten more than 1 title, he's just too inconsistent. And of course throws his toys out of his pram when he isn't defacto nr1 and has to have a side-kick protecting him.

People praise Alonso for taking the fight to Vettel in 2010 and 2012 but that wouldn't even have been a thing if Vettel hadn't had all those car problems. Not to mention there were other challengers like McLaren, Ferrari, and Lotus. Mercedes were totally unchallenged from 2014-2016 and in 2019. Red Bull too were dominant but it can't even be compared to Mercedes' dominance.

Loved the video! What I thought would have been cool is to colour the bars to indicate the team the laps were lead for. Seb would have his bar divided into his time at RB and Ferrari. Would make it easy to compare e.g. Hamilton at Merc and Vettel at Red Bull.

The Merc is strong, if you make an analysis. If you see how close Rosberg came towards Hamilton during the time they partnerd and the hybrid era. Hamilton is less exeptional then Vettel or Verstappen. Rosberg and Button where as good as Hamilton in the same cars

Den R Rosberg was a good driver, but he gained on Lewis at the end of 2015 when he won four races in a row after Lewis had already wrapped up the title. Then 2016 happened - whether that was the year Mercedes earmarked him to win the WC or Hamilton just got very unlucky we may never know. You can’t deny Lewis though, in his rookie season he matched Alonso, who is regarded by many as a top 10 driver of all time. His record speaks for itself

Vettel in 4 years of dominance led about the same amount of laps as Hamilton in 6, yes the Red Bull was completelly dominant in 3/4 years and in the other it was close with Mclaren but red Bull was more reliable (and I think faster but their drivers were a bit worse resulting in data saying Mclaren was a bit faster)

The red Bull was waaaaaaay more dominant (exception 2012 which was comparable) than the Mercedes was in 2017-2019, which happen to also be the years Bottas has been at Mercedes. I agree with the stats not looking good, but saying Red Bull was less dominant is just bull shit and Bottas has driven a year less in the top car than Webber thus your comparison between those 2 is also really skewed
